For over 20 years, the director of PopUK, Andy Silver, has been writing songs to equip primary schools to teach the social, moral, spiritual, and cultural (SMSC) curriculum.
PopUK has developed relationships with primary schools across the UK through Multi Academy Trusts, Music Hubs, Church of England & Catholic Dioceses & Sing Up.
PopUK songs have been published by Harper Collins, Bloomsbury and Faber.
Initially, our focus was delivering in-school projects, however, following the reduction in school budgets and the impact of the Covic pandemic on schools, PopUK decided to make all its resources free to schools, relying on schools reporting song usage to copyright agencies for income
